COME SEE US AT THE HALLOWEEN & PARTY EXPO IN HOUSTON, TEXAS, BOOTH #3737, JANUARY 28TH - 31ST, 2012!

"EDUCATION FOR SUCCESS!"
There is no doubt that the economy and the internet have changed the retail landscape and consumers’ shopping habits. These times of change can be challenging; but, at the same time, they can create opportunities for those willing to adjust to the new realities. PCA is here to help its members meet the challenge, and take advantage of those opportunities.
In this new world for retailers, keeping up with shifting retail practices and strategies is critical. As part of its mission to help make its members the most competitive retailers in the industry, PCA has always devoted time at its annual convention to education. But in 2012, PCA will be offering more seminars and breakouts than ever before. The theme for PCA’s convention, “Education for Success,” says it all.
“Our members spoke, and the PCA management listened” says Don Morgan, Director of Party Club of America. “They wanted more and harder-hitting breakouts and educational seminars. They also wanted to have more networking time so that they can share what is working in their stores.”
“One of PCA’s greatest assets is the collective knowledge of our membership,” Morgan says. “The format of the upcoming convention will encourage members to capitalize on this internal knowledge, while exposing them to speakers from other parts of the retail sector who are experts on industry best practices.”
The Convention will kick-off with a “Welcome to Houston” cocktail reception on Wednesday, January 25th. On Thursday, the meeting will focus on both Halloween and PCA’s industry-leading import program. The day will include Halloween and import-specific educational sessions, merchandise reviews, and moderated discussions. On Friday, the meeting will feature another slate of great educational seminars and break-out sessions, which will focus on party-specific topics, as well as a myriad of other subjects, including social media, internet marketing, human resources, loss prevention, and much more. We will end the day with our members enjoying the great hospitality of Party & Paper Retailer Magazine at its Industry Gala, which is the traditional kick-off event for the Halloween & Party Expo, which follows the PCA Convention.
If you would like more information about the PCA Convention or would like to find about more about joining our PCA family, please give us a call @ 800-324-7474 or visit the PCA website, www.partyclubofamerica.com Also, please come by our booth (#3737) at the Expo and say hello. We would love to meet you!
